Health information deserves real privacy. Here is exactly what happens to your data when you use ReportExplained.
Your report is not stored
When you paste report text or attach images on the Explain My Report page, they are sent securely to our analysis service and an AI model solely to generate your explanation. They are processed in memory, are not saved to a database, and are discarded once your explanation is returned. Refreshing or leaving the page clears everything.
No account, no personal health records
ReportExplained does not require an account and does not ask for your name, date of birth, medical record number, or any other identifier. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell data.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate site usage — for example, which guide pages are most visited. This data is anonymized, is not tied to your identity, and never includes anything you paste into the analyzer.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any storage the site uses is limited to what is technically necessary to serve the pages.
